Gary Larson has at least three or four cartoons based on penguins, and once I find them and scan them I'll add them to the page. I'm not sure what ol' Gary is up to, but there is (or used to be) a terrific gallery of all his nature-related comic strips in the Academy of Sciences in San Francisco. There's also an exhibit of Jackass Penguins there in a depressingly small glassed-in enclosure that seems awfully close to the Alligator exhibit. If you go to the San Francisco Zoo and visit Penguin Island, there are some Far Side cartoons on the various information kiosks surrounding it.
